Ortavio began when Sophie Vermeer stopped accepting that tired feet were simply part of the job.
How it began

After another shift on hard floors, Sophie came home carrying her shoes in one hand. The soft insoles inside them had already given up.
She compared every pair she owned, traced shapes on paper and kept returning to one idea: the arch needed structure, not another layer of softness.
The first run went to people who worked on their feet. Their notes were blunt, practical and useful. Ortavio still builds that way.
Where it is now
Ortavio moved beyond Sophie’s kitchen table, but not away from the work. The team stays close to the warehouse, the product and the questions customers actually ask.
